Contaminants. Impacts. Solutions.
Research in the Brinkmann Lab at the University of Saskatchewan is anchored in aquatic toxicology and focuses on the uptake and effects of environmental contaminants in aquatic organisms. We combine knowledge from different disciplines, including toxicology, environmental chemistry, and hydrology, to solve some of the most pressing issues of our time.
WE ARE AN INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH LAB AT THE UNIVERISITY OF SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA
Led by Dr. Markus Brinkmann, we bring together a diverse team of undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, as well as technical and administrative staff to tackle the ever-growing global issue of environmental contamination. Our research transcends traditional boundaries—interdisciplinary, international, and spanning from the lab to the field.
